MechStack (the "Service") is a vehicle maintenance record app (mobile app and web app) provided by an individual developer (the "Operator"). The Operator establishes this Privacy Policy (the "Policy") regarding the handling of personal information of users of the Service ("Users") as set forth below.
1. Information We Collect
(a) Account Information
Email address and password (stored hashed). If you sign in with a Google account, the email address and basic profile information provided by Google.
(b) Data Entered by Users
Vehicle information, fuel records, maintenance records, periodic inspection records, maintenance schedules, and similar data.
2. Purpose of Use
- Providing and maintaining the Service (storing, displaying, and aggregating records)
- Account authentication
- Responding to inquiries
3. Information We Do Not Collect
The Service does not access your location, contacts, or photos. We do not conduct tracking for advertising delivery or behavioral analysis.
4. Storage and Third-Party Disclosure
Collected data is stored on Supabase (a cloud database service). We will not disclose data to third parties except where required by law. We also will not transmit data externally except where necessary for a Google Play review or similar process.
5. Data Deletion
Users may delete their account from the in-app settings screen. Deleting your account will completely remove all of your user data.
6. Security
Communications are encrypted with TLS. Access to the database is restricted to the account owner only, through row-level security.
7. Revisions
If we revise the content of this Policy, we will announce the change on this page.
