Terms of Service

This is an English translation provided for reference. In case of any discrepancy, the Japanese version shall prevail.
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") set forth the conditions of use of the vehicle maintenance record app "MechStack" (the mobile app and web app; the "Service") provided by an individual developer (the "Operator"). All Users of the Service ("Users") are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.
1. Application
These Terms apply to all relationships between Users and the Operator in connection with the use of the Service.
2. Accounts
Users shall register for an account using accurate information when using the Service. Users are responsible for managing their own account information (email address, password, etc.) and shall not allow third parties to use it, nor lend, transfer, change the name on, or sell it. The Operator bears no responsibility for any damage incurred by a User due to inadequate management of account information or errors in its use.
3. Prohibited Conduct
Users shall not engage in any of the following acts when using the Service:
- Acts that violate laws, regulations, or public order and morals
- Unauthorized access to the Service, other Users, or third parties
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the source code or mechanisms of the Service
- Acts that may interfere with the operation of the Service
- Acts that cause disadvantage, damage, or discomfort to other Users or third parties
- Any other act the Operator deems inappropriate
4. Suspension or Modification of the Service
As the Service is provided through individual development, the Operator may change, add to, or discontinue the content of the Service without prior notice to Users, and bears no responsibility for any resulting damage to Users.
5. Disclaimer
Users are responsible for managing and verifying the accuracy of the data recorded in the Service at their own responsibility. The Service does not provide professional advice regarding vehicle maintenance. Except in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence by the Operator, the Operator bears no responsibility for any loss of data or damage incurred by a User arising from the Service.
6. Intellectual Property Rights
Copyrights, trademark rights, and other intellectual property rights related to the Service belong to the Operator or to third parties holding legitimate rights. Rights to data entered by a User into the Service belong to that User.
7. Changes to the Terms
The Operator may change these Terms without prior notice to Users when deemed necessary. The revised Terms take effect from the time they are displayed on the Service.
8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising in connection with the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over the location of the Operator.
